APS Healthcare Awards Cognitive Technologies With Microsoft SharePoint Portal Project
Austin, TX, DECEMBER 1, 2009. Cognitive Technologies -- a consulting firm specializing in project management, collaborative processes, and organizational effectiveness for federal and state government and Fortune 1000 companies - has been awarded a project to upgrade and redesign APS Healthcare’s internal Microsoft® SharePoint® portal and three departmental pilot sites.
Cognitive Technologies was selected for this project because of its combined strengths of project management, collaborative processes, SharePoint knowledge, and human-computer interaction experience. Cognitive Technologies will first upgrade APS Healthcare’s internal information portal to Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and redesign and rebuild it with new content and services. The project includes installing SharePoint 2007, conducting an information audit and requirements sessions to document critical content, organizing content, and designing navigation and workflows for ease of use. When this internal portal is complete, Cognitive Technologies will design and develop three departmental pilot sites.
